Classes

We run a strength and conditioning class for beginners on a Tuesday at 10.45 and intermediate class on a Tuesday and Wednesday at 9.30. These classes are aimed at building strength and fitness. Every participant has a 1:1 session prior to starting the class to assess suitability. There are a maximum of 8 participants in a class and the structure is a mini-circuit working on different muscle groups. Classes run in blocks of 6-7 weeks so you can see progress as you go.

These classes are aimed at patients who want to improve their strength, fitness, mobility and balance and we provide targeted exercises to help with this. To make sure the class is safe, all participants must be able to walk unaided and must be medically fit for exercise.

Gi is skilled at working around an injury and can work alongside one of our physiotherapists to provided targeted rehab if required.

What can I expect from the sessions?

You will be asked some questions about what your goals are and what you want to get out of the session. Gi will then look at how you move with specific exercises and create an exercise plan from then. Gi can send you exercises that would benefit you, outside of these sessions using our online exercise programme or can print out reference sheets for you.

What should I bring ?

Please wear comfortable clothing that you feel able to move freely in. Please wear flat, comfortable shoes with grip, trainers are ideal. You may get quite warm, so layers may be a good idea. Please bring a drink with you.
